Default Arsenal showboating

How come no mass indignation about it being "humiliating" and "excessive" and "unnecessary"?

Hypocrites.

Yes, would some leg breaking tackles against their players have been justfied?

Wasn't Nani criticized for about a month after his five second long keepie-uppie exploits in a FA Cup tie against those @#%&!s at OT two or three years ago?

Yup, and Wenger was leading it.

Edit:

Arsène Wenger claimed that the United winger had “humiliated” Arsenal’s players by showboating

“Some of our guys were upset that he [Nani] did that,” Gilberto, the Arsenal midfield player, said. “They have calmed down now. It was important for us that we didn’t lose control and lose another man [after Emmanuel Eboué’s dismissal]. I spoke to him and told him it wasn’t necessary for him to do that. I told him he could get a bad kick doing that. But I don’t think any of our players would kick him too hard.”

All true enough, but whatever way you look at it they were on the recieving end of tackles like this on Saturday...

If Diaby had broken his leg, how much worse would Wenger be ?

And so were we at OT.

OT 2008: Arsenal make disgusting tackles, United showboat when the game is safe, United get slaughtered in the press.

Emirates 2010: Notlob make disgusting tackles, Arse showboat when the game is safe, Notlob get slaughtered in the press.

Remember the odd sly kick, but not so many going to ground & tackling over the top of the ball like that Robinson one, or the two footed one by Cahill from behind... memory is a bit hazy though, just recall Nani's juggling & Anderson's dragback nutmeg on Fabregas (if that was even the same game.. ?)

One tackle on Nani was particularly vicious and could easily have £#%&!ed him up

But apparently that's okay because he was "asking for it"

Arsenal's whole "oh poor us, we're targeted because of our sexy football" spiel cuts no ice with me. We know them for what they really are.

They put about 30 passes together and finished with a goal. It was good football not showboating.

The Cole one was a red card any day. The Cahill one looks innocuous on first viewing, but he did go in two-footed, even if there wasn't that much contact. Plus there was another incident that could've been a red and I don't think he even showed a card for it. The ref had a shocker all round actually.

The Blackpool one was a joke though.

The 27-pass move. There's passing, then there's taking the piss, and that was taking the piss.
