£25m for Bolasie didn't they.

If they sign Young that's good business for Palace, ignoring the money.

Liverpool fans argued the true cost of Andy Carroll was £15m due to the fact they received £50m for Torres.

Using this model of calculation the true cost Palace are paying for Benteke is £7m taking into account they received £25m for Bolasie.

Liverpool have made a £25.5m loss on a forward they coveted for long and gave up after 10 months.

Scousernomics 101.

I simply don't understand how they can still get £32m for that £#%&!er considering how god awful he's been since he went there.

£32m from a bottom half team for a player who has been an utter flop.

And people have the gall to say we overpaid for Pogba.

He's been their Di Maria...

pretty simple but for you here's a quick lesson

Liverpool paid £32.5m for Benteke from Aston Villa.
Everton paid £25m for Bolasie from Palace.

£32.5 - £25m = £7.5m.

This is using the RAWK logic that the cost of Andy Carroll was £15m because of the cost of Torres. They even had the gall to claim they made a profit on him when West Ham paid £17m to sign him.

Everton must have known this would happen when they handed over £25m for that show pony.

They've funded a club to sign a reject from their biggest rivals

Given the way the market has gone this summer theyve made a significant loss in insane football terms.

Benteke will be a good signing for Palace. They will pay to his strengths which Liverpool didn't.

£32m is nothing if he scores 10-15 league goals and keeps them up.
