Yes, only pair of games ive seen him in before today was in central midfield. Him alongside a more combative player like Schweineh would be perfect.

Next season will be fun whichever midfielders we get tbh, as long as LvG wants them. He got bloody de jong and de guzman to work for him against spain ffs.

We need to take advantage of LvGs links and the cheap prices of the dutch league this summer.

Martins Indi was another linked Dutchie who impressed hugely.

Hopefully Clasie gets his United audition vs the Aussies in the next game.

He's played lots of games at left-back, whether it's his favoured/best position or not.
