he's obviously failed to fulfil phase 3 of the Peterborough Plan: "promotion to the premiership in 1 year, champions league place in 5". he is an unmitigated failure imo.

Well yeah, barry can't sack but surely he wouldnt let it happen after the support he gave darren?

its all about the money. chairmen really have no choice these days. i'm not sure about their financial situation but back to back promotions must have set them back a few quid in transfers. if posh were to drop it could (maybe) cripple them.

what does he do? take a gamble on a seasoned manager who could keep them up or stick with a novice? it must be about the money.
