So let's not play a player who shows great potential, and is good going forward but will make mistakes and is inexperienced for a player who is proven to make mistakes and offer less in either direction because he has experience.

Froggleson logic that is right there.

That may be so, but we know how much stock Fagie puts in experience. With a constantly changing defence at the moment, even stretching to the keeper, I'm sure he'll keep Evra as first choice for the time being.

Psychology 101, 70 year old manager values experience over things like pace, verve and dynamism.

Love 'em both, tbh but Fabio > Buttner and Evra.
I hope he comes back next year, and if not at left back then further up the pitch.
Fabio > Buttner, Evra and Nani and anyone else on the left.

Don't disagree with that. Im sure he will. Whether he should be is a different matter.

Evra all day long at the moment for me. Buttner may be good enough to take over but... Fabio and Brady down that side for me asap

with Young and Buttenr as competition

£5m for Evra in the summer

This.....

Butters looks proud as £#%&! to playing for United, looks like he would run through a wall for United and take out any £#%&!er that gets in his way.

Looks like he may score a few more than Evra has during his time

buttner's looked great so far, two easy games tbf. that said, him and rafael down the flanks guarantees all sorts of fun so i'm all for it. them two providing width, a narrower midfield like the one we saw last night (one sitting, two ahead) and three up top and we're looking proper entertaining again.

ddg
rafael - rio - evans - buttner
fletcher
valencia - cleverley
kagawa
rvp - rooney

:mmmonkey:

lots of alternatives - carrick for fletcher, the fat @#%&! for cleverley, cleverley for kagawa, loads of strikers... nani, welbeck, cheech, scholes off the bench as game-changers...

great team but no way could we ever start without Carrick he's our main man in mdifield so swap him for Fletcher and it's a goer
