Is there any reason why he isn't first choice left back from now on?

Been fantastic in his first couple of games for us. Good tackler, good on the ball and adds a lot going forward

Because his first couple of games have been against Wigan at home and a meaningless league cup game (again at home).

To me Buttner looks like Evra used to

If we were playing City on Saturday, you'd want Evra playing.

Check Buttner out on youtube, he's awesome and could easily start for us against big teams.

By reputation you would but in games like that Evra has been utter £#%&! for three years. At what point do you say he isn't the best option? When a better one comes along. Unless Buttner gets played we won't know that but his form, and Evra's. means he desrves at least a go.

Still doesn't the left back offer the backup for the centre half? the gap in-between them was huge, just thought he could of been in a better position & reduced the space that Cisse had.

Evra is still first choice at the moment because of his experience. Hth
