Average age of a Mourinho signing - 25

And that's slightly distorted by Ibra. 23 if you take him out.

Not really the point, it's about all the ones he wanted to sign now. The side's ageing badly and we've had our hands burned badly with loads of ageing players on long contracts that we can't get shot of.

Yep, none of the targets mentioned would make that much difference in the long term

Who are they? Think Maguire (24) and Alderweireld (29 and a definite improvement on what we have) are the only ones we know he wanted for sure. Aside from 19 year old Dalot and 25 year old Fred

Reads more like Mourinho having a go back tbh.

Shit needs to stop now. It's not likely we'll win the league and Woodward is ok with that. End o'story.

Mourinho's last season no matter what imo.

Desperate need of a top of the range Director of footyball who could maybe set up a scouting infrastructure as a new initiative at utd

This is what i don't understand. Our owners love to cost cut....what better way to do so than investing in the best scouting set up they can with a long term man in charge of signings. We dont give Jose who he wants anyway, so get a guy in whos only job is to get the players out scouting set up think are the best.

Has to be better/cheaper than blowing our load on mongs, then having a season off spending because the previous signings have been gash.

I guess this would take effort though and we're more bothered about signing noodle mongs and tire @#%&!s.

Because they don't have a clue about football mate, they're money men. Pure and simple.

It's like asking Richard Branson why he doesn't write a hit album because he owns Virgin Records.

Had it too easy under Fergie. Needed to do £#%&! all but look for wine sponsors, while the foodball side of things was taken care of. They still treat the club like this, but now we've got a complete melon trying to sign players and just as bad a person in charge of winning games.

Come on you Chinese/sandy bastards buy usssssssss. Better that than this.

My theory is they don't want to trust anybody other than yes man Woodward with the reality of our player budgets.

Ribalta £#%&!ed off to be sporting director of zenit, whereas here he was working alongside a global scout, chief scout, etc. Intentional mess imo.

Hackson reckons we're getting a DOF. Even by his standards, the article is terrible. So bad it's not even worth linking.

His writing is beyond dogshit.

He should be ashamed to call himself a professional writer.

United are waiting until women’s facilities are installed at Carrington before hiring a DoF - did he get his job as part of some quota?
