evra has been fantastic. i think heinze knew that once evra had a consistent run in the side, he would be reduced to being his understudy. i've yet to spot a major weakness in his game.

didn't go last night, saw that interview - he's making all the right noises. i liked it when he called himself a 'red devil'.

I posted this thing that got printed in the telegraph fanview thing that i still have somewhere. it was when both evra and vidic were still getting some stick and i basically said, bear with them and let them settle in and they could be great additons to the squad.

nice to be right for once!

He is the best left back in Europe. And to think I wrote him off.

He did a great interview with MUTV after the Arsenal game. Refused to pay lip service to the "you'd have taken a point before the game so it's not really a bad result" nonsense & called it as it is.
Said it essentially was as bad as a defeat because of the manner & timing of the goal etc..

Yep, I took my frustration out on him & Vidic too (like a lot of us did) - "what the £#%&! are we buying defenders for when we're so shit in midfield etc..??!"

But I can't imagine a United side without either of them now.
Vidic was excellent last night too.
