Default Was that our best performance under Jose?

Struggling to think of a better one.

Chelsea at home? City in the league cup? The Europa final? Leicester home? Leicester away?

Not getting carried away, but I reckon that's most confident and complete we've looked all over the pitch since he got here.

Very little in terms of shit@#%&!ery out there yesterday and when Rojo comes back, alongside the skill and flair, I reckon we'll be the toughest team in Europe: If we can't beat them on goals we'll kick the shit out of them.

Should definitely play out tallest eleven at some point this season just to wind everyone up.

That victory at Liverpool when gerrard got sent off was pretty special under LVG. We did try to £#%&! it up a bit towards the end of the match though but that's easy to forget.

That said, it wasn't massively confidence inspiring as far as the future was concerned whereas yesterday was - yesterday was a big statement of intent..

Liverpool away is still the one to beat post fergie though imo.

That first half is the best Anfield performance in years.

That spell where we beat them, spurs and city is the best we've played in any one spell since Fergie.

This. Jesus Christ. Giddiness off the charts, we all had a drink yesterday....

Great day by the way. Can't beat a Sunday home game, ruby afterwards, rolling home on the last train and curry farting your way into work

Not really. Valid question to ask imo.

It's more a reflection of how shit we've been than anything else. It was our biggest win in 2 years. We were blighted by either poor results or poor performances or both last season. Not much to choose from.

Still waiting for someone to come up with a better performance under Jose.

Yes. It felt like that 5-1 at home against Fulham in 2006/07 on the first day. A team that many were uncertain about, players with a point to prove. Loved the freedom in the attacking play, really hope that Mou retains that attacking push. Yes there will be games when a more tactical approach is required but there is more than enough talent in this Utd squad to make a serious push for the league.
