Why was he on the bench.

Oh and he isn't fully fit either, hasn't been for months. Calf injury still giving him grief.

It's called managing and he did the right thing. Nev should learn from it.

Made his point??? What, that Wes Brown is absolute gash at right-back?

If he dropped Neville because of some petty little squabble it's £#%&!ing criminal.

No. You're wrong. If it is to do with what happened in Lille then it is as far away from criminal as you can get. It would also not be a "petty squabble" if the manager is exerting his authority. That's his job. Why would a player think he can have a "petty squabble" with a manager? Again, if that's what's happened, then it's unlikely to happen again in a hurry.

You're right. After that defensive performance Fergie knows he can't afford to leave Neville out.

No player is bigger than the club or the mangaer.

You have to have discipline in big clubs, especially from your captain.

Neville retaliated and it's not acceptable.

If it went unpunished, it sets a precedent for others to do the same.

As much as i love him, he was rightly dropped.

I don't know whether Fergie is or isn't a @#%&! - seems quite popular though, so I'd say it's unlikely.

No club functions without a manager. If you think that means the manager thinks he's bigger than the club then that's your problem, not his - and not United's.

If Brown had played to an acceptable standard it would not be an issue

Maybe true Tiberian.

If Ronaldo hadn't scored it would be a tabloid sensation as well.

Heard Tyler banging on about it as his angle on the game quite a few times during the game.
