World class from 2009-2011. Good in the big games generally - deserves much more credit than he gets.

I have no memory of this crying episode.
Clearly it was against the vermin - I don't want to see pics but what season was it? And more worryingly, why don't I remember it?

When they'd just bought Dogleash back. We had a holocaust and lost 3-1. Dirk @#%&! hat-trick

Love Nanners. Under-appreciated but had a very good career at United. But Tibs is right, around 2012 he was physically in decline.

Should probably have left in 2013. Another player the club ultimately desperately wanted to shift after awarding a five-year contract.

Yes, he was very good around that time. It was v Hull at the start of 2010 I think, when as someone put it "the penny suddenly dropped".

Fantastically skillful and gifted player who's career was stunted due to a lack of a good football brain...shame, but he made a good living nevertheless. I wish him the best but I don't want him back

Phelan said it on MotD or something. Was a bit harsh tbh; think he was off media duties shortly after that.

Tbf, having a cry like he did was pretty I was horrified at the time that he gave them THAT over us.

Cheers for that. Still don't remember it. I've obviously erased the whole game from memory, a bit like I did with the Moyes era.

Yeah he did a couple of times. Not this one though.

This one was just a £#%&!ing miserable day. Don't really blame Nani.

The kids then went to Anfield and won a couple of days later, starred. And Pogba got sent off

Did Pea come on for Nani and then score in added time? Same game?
