2011-12 van Persie had a pretty much injury free season and finished as the leagues top scorer.

That was the season before he joined us.

Bale hAs been constantly injured the last two seasons.

I think you take a chance. Marketing alone will pay his way, and if you get 35-40 games a year out of him I'd take it. We already have 45 earmarked for Perisic; Bale is a better player. And if the bar has been set by Neymar and subsequently Mbappe, and Siggurdsson is going for 50, £#%&!ing do it.

Real will want closer to £80m not £45m.

Is he still doing for Madrid what he was doing for Spurs?

Haven't watched him for years but if he is then why wouldn't you want to sign him even if he misses 10 games a season?

He misses a lot more than 10 games a season. He missed around 30 last season
