Football Team vs West Brom (sorry)

Been a great week for Moyes, as United avoided defeat during the international break. But all good things must come to an end, as he & United try their best not to ruin the weekend. 12:45 KO, so at least we can get it out of the way early

west brom have an even worse run of form than united iirc.

i suppose neither side could ask for better opposition.

but i see a united win, 1/2 goals. Corner well and truly turned.

Hard to feign interest in this nothing fixture, but I'll try.

Seeing Jones at CB would make a welcome change.

Januzaj should be buzzing after his much needed rest

Don't know who's fit & available because Moyes' didn't actually mention that today by all accounts.
Still, we got to hear his thoughts on what a great job Steve Clarke did at West Brom last season & how it was a surprise to see him lose his job

I imagine -

De Gea

Smalling at rb
Vidic
Evans
Evra

Young
Carrick
Fellaini
Mata

Van Persie
Rooney

state of that midfield

indeed.
So canny from the manager to rest him at just the right time.

When City are winning the League & Liverpool are sealing CL football we'll have the last laugh because Januzaj will be looking reasonably fresh at home to Norwich in a game that means absolutely nothing to both sides.
Good old Moyesie

Arguably the only game of consequence left, after a week spent in Dubai and a week before the international break. Obviously, young Janners doesn't have a country to play for atm, so the obvious thing to do was rest him.

Denting Liverpool & City’s title chances are all United have left to play for. What bizarro universe has Moyes taken us into ffs :shakehead:

I hope a red gets on the pitch & @#%&!s Young.

I bet he thought he was a right billy big %@#$&!s 'resting' a young player to save him for the 'run-in' - yeah, worked out well didn't it you £#%&!ing #@&%!.

Then again, it was probably a direct order from Fergie tbf

Good show. Me and Bunks have discussed this in the past. Can't remember if we decided on whether this was better or Sunday brunch though...
