Yep. Liverpool are a cup team; raising their game when needed and scraping wins. Everton won't win.

Why don't you mention how we beat them the other week to put ourselves within touching distance of another league title? Obviously not enough doom in there to mention that.

Yep, Blackburn are shit (and surely going down now) but the Vermin @#%&!s still needed oodles of luck to scrape a win

Correct.
If it was a night game at Goodison I'd give Everton a small chance, but Liverpool will win 2 or 3-0 on Saturday.

State of Dalglish' celebrations - he actually thinks that it's acceptable to go 10 Premier League matches without winning as long as you nick the 11th. He'll be overflowing with RAWK cliche's in his post-match.

Fascinating performance from Barca. When they lost the ball, they were defending with four, with Busquets dropping into the defensive line alongside Mascherano, but once they won possession they were often leaving just Mascherano back on his own, with Adriano and Puyol playing more as fullbacks than wide centre backs - frequently even overlapping the wingers. Four forwards, with Cuenca and Pedro both staying very wide at all times to stretch the pitch horizontally, in the style of a van Gaal team; Messi playing just behind Alexis in the middle. Xavi made a lot of penetrative runs beyond the two centre forwards too, a lot more than usual, even for this season - could've scored two or three goals.

About time that Everton had a bit of luck against them, tbh - and, indeed, that the Dippers obscenely undeserved good fortune in cup competitions came to a LONG overdue end

Liverpool don't have a senior keeper for the bench Saturday.

Easy, dollface. I didn't mention the win because it doesn't change us losing to an abysmal Blackburn side. Injuries yes, but that doesn't forgive the shambolic team selection.

I sense the doom within you.

I cannot understand this love in for Steve Kean the bloke is absolutely horrific as a manager, he and Venky's have conspired to destroy Blackburn... and yet all the pundits talk of "respect" for him, etc I don't get it
