Football Football memories

In light of the current meme sweeping my facebook wall, what are your favourite memories from playing football as a child?

Crop soccer is one that springs to my mind. How the £#%&! people didn't break bones on a daily basis is beyond me.

I used to hate it (soft @#%&!) and shied away from really hurting someone. However one day, a lad who I hated, was running towards the play at full pelt and i kicked one of his feet. He went flying Hollywood style and must have done about fifty rolls before he got up and started chasing me.

If it was jumpers for goalposts then it was the varying height of the crossbar depending on how tall the goalie was.
