Pure class with his defending tonight
Started off shaky on the ball but got much better as the match went on

He's good isn't he?

Funny how varane and Lisandro looked suspect playing next to maguire. That £#%&!er is the opposite of Roy Keane, he drags players down to his level.

Maguire was basically turned into this guy:

He's toxic now. No one will touch the poor bastard.

Varane needs a psycho as his partner. Not a psych case. It's ying and yang. The circle of life.

Varane was excellent tonight i thought the back 4 played really well , its not pretty but but 3 straight wins is progress after a disastrous start , an awful long way to go but stick by the boys , mufc forever

It all starts with having a solid defence.

It gives the rest of the team confidence to play progressively knowing there is a competent back line behind them to deal with things if the ball gets turned over.

It also sucks confidence from the opposition. Leicester were desperate at the end, hence the two shots they absolutely skied. They had given upon trying to find a way through.

I remember saying in his first season he’d dragged Lindelof, who’d been our best CB by a mile the previous season, right down, instead I was told Maguire was ace and Lindelof was just shit

Best he's played. No doubt. The benefits of a having a proper defender stood next to him.

Didn't Ten Hag mention that he's been put on a bespoke fitness programme designed to prevent the little niggling injuries he's been picking up?

Yep. Incredible isn't it, actual thought put into the wellbeing of players

Watch Jonah come back from the dead and Shaw drop 2 stone.

Interesting how the Saffersexuals that hammer Ole for signing Maguire are deathly silent on him bringing Varane to United.

That trio of Varane, Casemiro and Ronaldo will be priceless when it comes to building a winning culture in the dressing room.
