Football Tonight's team....

Picks itself really, doesn't it?

Onana
AWB
Martinez
Varane
Shaw
Casemiro
Mount
Fernandes
Rashford
Garnacho
Antony

He may play Sancho for Garnacho and use him as an impact sub though.
Anyway, the football is back (and what a mouth watering game we have to look forward to zzzzzzzzzzzz)

Only questions marks are Dalot and AWB (likely AWB) and Garnacho for Sancho. Suspect he might go with Sancho. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s the false 9 with Rashford left.

Martial fit too apparently. Whether that’s actually fit or just Martial fit, who knows.

£#%&! Martial, he's a waste of time. Hasn't played any pre season minutes so it's unlikely he gets a sniff tonight

Hard to believe Sancho is still first choice after 3 seasons of absolute shite.

he won't be by the end of the season. hell, i'll be shocked if he is by Christmas. Garnacho is light years ahead in every department.

Except maybe the " get to the edge of the box, do a bit of nice control and a few touches before passing it back" department.

He’s only been here 2 seasons.

I’d keep Garnacho in reserve tbh.

Same. Love Nacho as an impact sub.

I'd rather see him start and us get a lead as well as scaring the shit out of Wolves. Sancho is done imo.

I think Sancho will start with Garnacho on the bench.

Sancho should be nowhere near the first XI. Or the club for that matter. Still waiting for a few apologies...

Would have no issue at all with him starting and he’ll be undroppable soon if he continues to progress. Coin toss tbh.

I wouldn’t write Sancho off just yet. He’s got a lot of work to do, but there were some signs of life late last season and ETH finding a role for him suggests he wants him around.

My biggest concern with him is a lack of intensity in his play. He wasn’t like that at Dortmund. Seems to be a lack of genuine belief.

He’s on his last chance. I’d keep him this season, but he’s running out of time, friends and excuses.

what we'll probably see:

onana

wan b - varane - martinez - shaw

casemiro

bruno - mount

antony - sancho - rashford

not sure I would start varane against wolves - play him as little as possible. I expect garnacho will be a sub, but no reason not to start him ahead of sancho or antony. would play pellistri ahead of mount, too, but.... £#%&! it, let mount impress against wolves to build his confidence. when we are 3-0 up, give martial some pre-season. tell him to take it easy.

United are playing Stockport in the Papa Johns next week - give Martial some game time there
