its mad that even though most of this england team have plenty of big match experience and some truly world class players compared to a young germany team with many playing their first world cup that i still think germany have some kind of advantage over us. it's a cliche but there is definately a difference in mentality when it comes to these kind of games.

it should be a good game, probably played at a quick premier league style tempo, but i reckon the ref might spoil things - he's been a bit of a chode so far.

both teams have got slow centre halves. could get some joy with defoe and rooney playing right on mertersacker's and friedrich's shoulders.

2 all, anyones game after that.

I'm not expecting much tbh. I don't think England are going to magically turn around their largely lethargic performances so far.

Germany are nowhere near as good as teams of the past, but England have far too many weak areas for my liking.
