Indeed, pal. Would have been very easy for Van Gaal to move Mata wide and Memphis up front when Martial got injured.

What a night for the kid up front

Buzzing from that

Even when we weren't getting the goals we played in the right way with the right tempo
Memphis was absolutely brilliant. Yeah he was up against shite but still he had to make it happen and boy did he

Rashford is the story of the night. What Utd is all about
Not just his goals but his overall play was excellent
Looks a player

Keep that spirit and tempo in our play

Heads didn“t go down at 0-1 (1-3), Could easily have bottled it at that point.
Just a great all round performance over 90 minutes.

Just a shame United's soul died when Welbeck was sold

I'd say, judging from the reaction on the bench to Rashford's goals, that it was Giggs who pushed for his inclusion. VG probably would have gone for Depay up front and Lingard, Pereira wide. Good shout if so.

Mourinho would've gone for an extra defender.

Don't justify your cardie status, pal. These lads were telling us the players won't play for this manager

Rashford won't get a wink tonight

Yeah. Van Gaal has little or no history of throwing young players in. Good shout.
