Fernandinho will serve a four-match suspension with immediate effect after his claim of wrongful dismissal was rejected today [Wednesday 4 January 2017] following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.

"The Manchester City midfielder was sent off for serious foul play during the game against Burnley on Monday 2 January 2017.

"His suspension includes the standard sanction of an additional game as it was his second dismissal of the season."

The Brazilian will miss the FA Cup tie at West Ham, plus the Premier League games against Everton and Tottenham.

According to fair play table they did not have anyone sent off in Prem last season under Old Man Pelle - they ve got the same number of disciplinary points so far this season and are bottom of fair play league as they had whole of last season and in only half the games so far

One was CL, so different jurisdiction, would've been 5 games if it had been 3 PL sendings off.

Absolutely detest West Ham, mainly because of the type of supporter they attract. Went to the cup match last season and was jumped by three knuckle dragging morons who were backed up by 20 Neanderthals egging them on. No police to be seen anywhere, just me and two lads I know. None of us had any colours on. My mate had his nose splattered across his face with a punch from behind, I managed to get away with a bang to the back of my skull. Same again coming out of the stadium on NY day, as soon as the police cordon disappeared they start giving Munich songs trying to get United lads to show themselves....... £#%&!ers to a man, every single one of the jellied ell eating @#%&!s.
