Thought we should have a place for those of us who want to formally register our opinions or info so that it can be easily cross referenced down the line when needed during online battles and general boasting.

Dunk should own this thread in truth but there are others too who should give it serious consideration.

TV talent shows offer ordinary working class folks (and others) a path into the mainstream consciousness that otherwise they may not get. They give 'the people' a say in whether they are talented enough, not the advertisers, producers and agencies. As such they should be applauded rather than derided. Glad to get that on the record.
