Default Rooney deserves better

The way his United career is ending, with barely a whimper is simply not fair considering everything he has done for us. The likes of Fellaini and even Lingard need to take a backseat in the run in to give more minutes to the big man.

It's not only immoral but also decreases his value if he is to leave in the summer.

So what happens if as you say he is given more game time? You of the mind that he will leave on a high? Start smacking in goals that take us to top 4 and Europa champions?

Not really sure what you expect. Would argue it has ended (or is ending) pretty well relatively speaking. Look at Gerrard for comparison. As least Rooney didn't slip on his arse.

This ffs

Didn't have you down as the sentimental type saffers. He's done, might get a few minutes here and there but offers very little on the pitch these days.

He's got his record, won the lot more or less (hopefully he'll be lifting the Europa come May), so thanks for the memories Wayne and enjoy your semi-retirement in China or Merseyside

rooney can play cf when it doesn't matter. not in midfield. fellaini and lingard shouldn't be playing either.

Thought he was injured

When he's back he'll have a place on the bench.

Arsed

How many good games has he had since he signed the contract Moyes gave him?

Both. We're a much better team without him being bypassed in midfield or giving the ball away.

Should have been sold to Chelsea in 2013

He's taking £330k a week to sit on his spotty arse. Not sure how much better he could be having it at this point

If the team had played better with him in it you might have a point but we haven't, and that's a spectacularly low bar at the moment as well.

We've really pulled up trees in 2017 without him huh?
