I have a vague memory of Mark Hughes scoring there, ruffling Terry Gibson's hair and generally giving the rest of their players a bit of much-deserved stick.

I remember playing wimbledon at selhurst park in the early/mid 90s and it being like a home game as United supporters took over 2/3 of the ground.

1989? Pretty sure he scored there once and their 'crazy gang' all bounced off him one by one as he barged his way through and rifled it home. Maybe it was that time.

Reppingtons for anyone who can find it.

Final game of the 1992/93 season, wasn't it? Certainly recall comments to that effect at the time.

Plough lane is the worst ground I've been to, and that includes non league.

I was living in Raynes Park when Wimbledon disbanded, was weird drinking in the pub talking to blokes who just had their team taken away, they didn't know who to support, Kingstonian's was the nearest, anyway good luck to them...just think in the modern game Wimbledon have been more successful than Newcastle

Wimbledon may have been a bunch of clogging @#%&!s but they still gave me a very enjoyable 90 mins at Wembley in 1988.
