Tbf, I've moved past a new line - accepting that we will need to invest in quite a few new players to become a truly functioning team. What he's done defensively is excellent - elsewhere it's poor and the current players aren't good enough to make it click without significant reinforcements - probably 2/3 new players of real quality.

Don't think it's unreasonably slow, as such. Frustratingly slow, maybe. But it'll be worth it if we go where he wants to take us.

He makes mistakes, but all managers make mistakes so I don't see it as a big deal. I'm critical of substitutions when they're poor and was critical of transfer dealings last August. But again, generally I don't think he's made that many significant mistakes either.

We are going through, Wolfsburg have all the pressure on them, expect them to choke, even if they do not CSKA might do us a favour. If Carrick can play as he did in the second half at the weekend we should be able to create enough to win the ,match.

We are not going to win the tournament, that does not make it acceptable to drop out of such a mediocre group, not a good look for the club either in terms of attracting players. Moyes got to the quarters with an inferior squad ffs.
