I've seen the photo loads of times but whats the craic with it? Did they turn up at the Cliff/ Carrington with it? I always assumed it was a joke of some sort..

No. They actually done it. puressence was pissed off at Fergie and said he was gonna go down Carrington and protest. Mikey Red and Stan said they would go too. Everyone thought it was a wum - until the picture and a piece in the Guardian about them.
