It was marked v Villa though - nearest date. Played "Flowers" and wore black armbands.

They shall not grow old As we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning we will remember them.

RIP All who died on that fateful day.

Remember my Dad telling me the story of this when I was 5 and I cried.

He comforted me by explaining how Sir Bobby survived to play alongside a young Belfast boy who helped the great Sir Matt fulfil his dream that had been so cruelly taken from him that day 53 years ago.

For the next 36 years I have lived and breathed United and my own son who is now 3 will soon know the history and hopefully feel the affinity I have, experience the highs and lows, and always remember their legacy.

RIP.

Yup, the national side could easily have won more than one World Cup then.

RIP, each and every one.

Bobby Charlton at 19.

The football they play in that video looks very 'modern'.
