As good a display as there can be against a team who are absolutely awful.

Mata and Kagawa again were brilliant, Hernandez played well. Defensively solid. Deservedly 4-0 winners.

Some decent football today, still a million miles away from how good we could be. Thought Mata was superb, especially after Nani came on and he seemed to drop almost into a midfield position with Kagawa in front of him and J@&%!aj and Nani either side. Hernandez played his part too, forward runs keeping CB's busy allowing space in front of them for the rest to play.

Genuinely think Liverpool or City might have put 8 or 9 past them today

It was good but they were so appalling it was impossible not to win today.

Really disjointed and scrappy first half but brilliant 2nd half admittedly when Newcastle where completely dispirited

Kagawa and Mata
Those two are key to Utd playing attractive modern fluid football
Hardly surprising that Utd played much better football once Fellaini went off

Glad Adnan got a goal as he clearly low on confidence because for the most part he was poor while on

Glad to see Nani back

Can't wait until we £#%&! Nani off in the summer.

That bit of play where he dribbled into space on the right wing, had about three Red shirts in good positions to pick out in the box, and he decides to take a shot from an impossible angle into the side netting. Greedy, pea-brained #@&%!.

Januzaj is already 10x the player. Kagawa and Mata need to play together as much as possible. Love it.

Absolutely. When Newcastle are arsed they can be dangerous, but when they play as they did today teams cut them to ribbons. We were clinical.

Kagawa is a superb footballer, love the tempo at which he plays at, moves the ball quickly most of the time, creating space for the likes of Mata and Januzaj to be more expressive. Mata will get the headlines but Kagawa was central to so much of the good football today.

Nani is divisive, I think like Kagawa he has been wasted in recent years, Fergie had him on the wing putting crosses in. He is capable of so much more, he needs to have the freedom that Mata and Kagawa have, equally capable of being part of quick interplay and he offers that long range shooting as an option.

As a 4 I think Mata, Kagawa, Nani and Januzaj are very comparable to Hazard, Oscar, Willian and Schurrle at Chelsea. They really should be the main focus of the team next year but Moyes will probably sell Nani and Kagawa.

Yep. A proper manager would see the potential in a Nani-Kagawa-Mata combination. But heaven forbid Young or Valencia £#%&! off.

Getting rid of kagawa would be gross incompetence.
It would only happen because the manager doesn't know how to use him, or would rather play cautious percentage football.

Very good result today, but Newcastle are in free fall, getting battered left right and centre by teams like Everton and southampton. But fair play to moyes, just like at Everton, he's at his best when he's got nothing expected of him.

Nani needs to go IMO. He's been here 7 years now, and has only really found consistency during a six-month period 4 or 5 years ago.

Incredibly frustrating player, who's decision making is horrendously poor. He wastes so much of the ball in good positions, and the difference in this aspect of his play with Januzaj (a teenager) is startling.

I agree with you that we have a group of attacking players that are as good as anything in the league, but I would replace Nani in your selection with Welbeck. We should be building a team around Mata, Kagawa, Januzaj and Welbeck. Stick a top striker in front of any three of those four and we'd look good.

Let Mata and Kagawa dictate our attacking football, instead of Rooney dropping deep, and we'd see a huge difference in the style of play, moving from the crossing shite into a more fluid, dynamic, attractive style that is befitting of Manchester United. If Moyes sells Kagawa in the summer I will be livid. Tbf, if Moyes is still here in the summer I'll be disappointed.
