Default Have you seen the format of this tournament in Japan?

I thought it was just one game against the South american Champions as it used to be but oh no. It is now thoroughly idiotic and there atre no good teams in it. We play the winners of a playoff between the winner of an Australia/Kiwi decider and Japans champions in our semi.

hopefully it'll be tora, tora, tora from United.

Stupid tournament, but it's not like United wouldn't arrange stupid games somewhere, sometime if we weren't in this anyway.

If we were just playing in a single game it wouldn't be a tournament would it?

We'll get beat in the final, people will laugh at us and then after arriving back we'll draw at Stoke with Fergie blaming jet-lag. (Ignoring the fact 7 of our starting XL didn't play in the prev game).

True, though I only became aware of its "tournament" status today.

If we are allowed to field 40 players I suggest we'll win it!

Not a problem, a couple of friendlies in the sun and come home with the pot.

Play the reserves and kids in the first one, first team in the second one, jobs a good 'un.

Come back all refreshed, as World Champions, ready to kick on.

Is how it should go...

You know that rooney and Ronnie'll both get sent off in the final, massive row, FIFA get involved both banned for 9 games.

Is anyone on here clever enough to work out what time the kos will be over here? Also, any word on who is showing it?

No but Japan is about 8 hours ahead isn't it? That'd suggest afternoon kickoffs.

I think that would mean they'd be playing over there at 8 O'Clock in the morning.
If the wc in 2002 thought me anything it's that the games will on be early in the day over here.
