Default OFFICIAL Match Thread: Man Utd vs Stoke City: Fraudiola, Rooney's revival and TBR's stained Y-fronts

Venue: Old Trafford Date: Tuesday, 2 February Kick Off: 2000

TEAM NEWS

Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick could start after coming off the bench on Saturday following a four-match lay-off with a knee injury.

Bastian Schweinsteiger could be out for a month after a scan showed his knee problem to be worse than first thought.

Stoke defender Marc Wilson is expected to be out for about three months after suffering a knee injury at the weekend.

Bold move.

Has Sparky totally lost his shit?

Anyone else expecting the new Stoke record signing to turn out to be Rivelino incarnate?

Just trying to give the poor lad a break, between the Guardiola news and his sugar diet he's AOTS.

Hope this goes better than Large Miguel's forlorn attempt to host FOTY. Ballsy move to steam in blind side while Sparky has a complete breakdown combined wiv a lavverly little job to Terminal 5 and back.

Finally.

The Manchester United brand being discussed, it's exciting times now van Gaal has managed another successful transfer window with his very expensive squad still together?

Looking forward to this.
Stoke have improved a lot. I think it will be a close encounter but I think we will edge it.

Wow. Low and unexpected blow. Rougers still living off a 10 second celebrity Z list introduction that, I suspect, he actually paid for.

Just seen Hughes on SSN, basically saying they're gonna come and frustrate us for a while which should make the crowd edgy, get to the players, and try and nick one late on. He's told us exactly what they're gonna do, but we've known that for each side that has been recently and not been able to do anything about it. What odds is 0-0 at half time? Gonna be a cracker again isn't it...
