Default Berbatov rumour from a Spurs board

Quote:
...I'm only the messenger. But I'm hearing more and more rumours that the deal is done.

Yesterday I had a meeting with a guy connected to the club who said he'd been told it was sealed. I asked him how good his source was and he said he never believed anything until it was official but the source was no liar.

I'm passing this on not to claim ITK status - I think I've been here long enough to be exempt from such accusations - but it because I'm extremely worried about it and sharing these things helps me cope with the anxiety.

It could be %@#$&!s. I hope it is.

Trouble is, if your Man U, why wouldn't you buy Berbatov?

Rhodzy, take off your Rossi tinted specs. Berbatov is a much better player.

Already posted on Fred. Having said that, I reckon it's got legs.

Berbatov isn't as slow as some think. He ran right by Gael Clichy on the weekend, and that kid is fast.

I don't think Berbatovs the type of person to leave a club after one season tbh

Rossi will never make it at United

FACT and you can qoute me on that.He will move to Italy for good.

Berbatov is about the best we could go for and i would be delighted with him.

Trouble is Tottenham will value him even more than they did Carrick

I really like 'tov, but is he the right kind of player ?

He's clever and reminds me of Sheringham which is no bad thing, but I'm not sure he'd the right guy.

Still, he appears to be two footed which would be a pleasant relief.

I think he'd be excellent. Allows Rooney to play futher forward (as he did against Bolton at home) where he was devastating. Berbatov has been excellent everytime I've seen him play, would be very happy if we got him in the Summer.

However, I still feel that Rossi should be given a proper run in the side to prove himself. For £#%&!s sake, the @#%&! richardsons had plenty of chances, none of which he's deserves, the £#%&!ing @#%&!!

If Lord Snooty wasn't a left winger he'd have been £#%&!ed off long ago. We've always had problems with that position. Jaysus, people look back at Blomqvist with red tinted glasses.

You know how it works with United - We'd have paid £9m.

the more I think about it, the more I like the idea..

No patience for Saha anymore and I certainly don't want Owen.

Nothing to do with him being ex-scouse, he was a cracking player 4-5 years ago, but his game relied on pace and after so many injuries he hasn't got it anymore.. plus he'd want to be on £70k + and quite frankly he isn't worth it.

i never did, over rated and never played at the level he did before he joined us, also to blame for keanes booking in the semi final, i'd say he didn't play much after that season for fear of getting a dose of keane style retribution, seemed to be always injured.
