Thought he looked good on the weekend

Can't really be blamed for losing his footing for their goal and he looked like he was leading the backline well. Looks like a good communicator at the back which we've been lacking for a while and his distribution is good

Should give him a run of games now, think he'll prove the doubters wrong.

Play him and Bailly together consistently and let them build up a partnership.

He was bad in the first half. Jittery and picked up some odd positions when we had that ball and it screwed up our passing from the back.

That pass to Lukaku seemed to lift him and he got better as the game went on.

Start him Wednesday, start him Saturday. Try and let him get some confidence with some relatively comfortable fixtures.

If Tuanzebe had the chances Lindelof has had & turned in the same level of performances he would never be seen again .

too early to tell with a defender new to England. For what it's worth I reckon he'll turn it around.

Yup, he’s sound technique wise and reading the game. The enormity of his situation sent his head west for a bit. He’ll be fine, only a blithering #@&%! would write a player off (especially a defender coming from Portugal) before he can aclimatise to the league ffs.

I'm refraining from issuing death threats at the moment as I am hopeful he will signal the eventual removal of the Smalling polyp.

It’s probably the trickiest position to be brave and patient with a new player apart from goalkeeper, but the manager has to decide what he wants. If you’re not going to back your original judgement to buy the kid then stick to veterans like Chiellini or Ramos, but then you’ll never get another Vidic.

You’ve got to think that if even John Stones can turn it around and start to look half decent with some patience then Lindelof can also.

Hardly saw him but liked the nasty tackle. Couple of other decent moments.

No major £#%&!ups.

First convincing performance of his time here, was much more aggressive and physical.
