But because you think he's a @#%&! of a bloke that means you've also forgotten what he's won as a manager

The blokes a @#%&! imo but why should that matter. He'll never know how I feel or really care if he did and I imagine he'd probably think I was a @#%&! too if he read this place.

Why are people so precious over £#%&!ing footballers/famous people?

If Edwards didn't sell, there would be no plc, no Irish horse fiddlers, no gimps.

Did fergie make Edwards sell?

I'd wager that was one hell of a profitable trip for lord govan of red clydeside.

The thing is, all other discretions would be forgiven by most people if he hadn't left the club in the hands of a woefully inept chancer. Bayern, Barca and Real all changed managers last summer - does anyone seriously think any of them would have considered Moyes? They were probably only vaguely aware of who he is. They're aware now though.

Ferguson's wishy-washy, flimsy £#%&!ing twaddle about Scottishness in his book shows that his ego demanded the new man somehow resemble himself. Never mind that it's not 1986 any more, never mind that Moyes' past record is only impressive if you support Stoke City and 'doing well on a budget' should never be the sole reason to get the Manchester United job. Fergie's thinking was as long as he seems a bit like me, that's all that counts. He's Scottish, dour, shouts a lot and has a nice family. Jesus £#%&!ing wept.

well, if you think putting ego, self-interest and petty spite above the interests of the club, whilst betraying your cultural inheritance, is just mistakes.... :shakehead:

mistakes would be things like gambling with a team selection at home v fulham or (bigger) playing park in a cl final. a lot of what fergie has done and his attitude smacks of @#%&!ery.

then again, keane is a @#%&!, schmeichel is a @#%&!, andy cole is a @#%&!, rooney's a @#%&!....

see to be fair, it wasnt his job to think or really care about the next manager all this 'fergie left us with this guy' patter is horrendous. he picked the players to win him the title, they did it, he is gone . end of. none of this season can be blamed on him, its just a shitty cop out - and in his eyes anyway he left us a league winning selection and even though it has weaknesses moyes should be doing better with them, playing the game in the transfer market but he is doing neither - thats £#%&! all to do with fergie

Agree, nonetheless he did.

aye he did to an extent but once moyes had the reighns it isnt SAF's problem any more as I said in his mind he has set him up - given him a decent set of tools and if he £#%&!s up then on his own head be it

dont see why ferguson is getting the blame for moyes £#%&!ing up, he couldnt have done any more for him

and folk complaining about his signings should be complaining about moyes not being able to manage them , its no coincedence that one season these players were playing nice, dominant football under SAF then in 6 months look utter dross, thats the current boss's fault.

Ferie was summed up in2 paragraphs in his book the biggest day since munich in utds history and because of litigation 2 paragraphs. Maybe I go abit over the top with ferie out stuff but I've not waived on my opinion of him and his morals. Maybe I'm being blinkered but him at all the matches hanging around is merely a ploy from team ferguson to come back to the healm.

Fergie shouldn't of been allowed to choose the next manager. Like others have said he was a great manager but he was one big contradiction.

Moyes should never have been given the job. He's £#%&!ed because he's relying on the senior pros who are all looking at the exit door. Rio, Vidic, Evra, Rooney and Van Persie. Throw into that Nani and Anderson. Do you think these players are going to save him??

But as part of the process, not his sole decision.
