Looks a damn good player from what I've seen, sadly , he plays in a position we already have well covered.

Better than Rossi, IMO

Cracking little player - I remember Tim Vickery talking about him a little while ago during the Under-19 World Tournament or summat like that. Saw his debut on sky against Sunderland, he came off the bench, and straight away looked the best player on the pitch.

Apparently, the story is - his brother (who has played in Scotland) advised him to go to Qatar for the money from Argentina rather than going to a club in Europe. I guess he realised his mistake and this is how he wound up at Birmingham on loan.

Certainly wouldn't complain if we brought him in - but like someone else said, we've many other options in the position. Hope he doesn't end up at one of our rivals as I the little £#%&!er went up further in my estimation after his performance against City the other week.

Delighted for the lad. He was never hugely popular in Argentina, primarily due to the general perception that he was too selfish on the pitch, but his talent has always been clear. Hopefully the start of big things for him, providing he doesn't end up at the dippers, that is.

£#%&!

At least Benitez won't play him because he has flair

Are there actually going to be any funds for the dippers to 'dip' into, what with all the in-fighting, debt and general turmoil?

Have any of your tips ever come true??

On a par with you saying we'll get beat every week.

I don't see the point.

I agree, he has calmed down. Just the odd comment every other day now.

getting career advise of one of the few players in european football who belong to an actual company not a club.

what does that have to do with anything? Are you saying teves hasn't had a good career up to now?

Noticed a couple of decent players on MotD in the Spurs v M'boro' game.

Berbatov's touch and elegance for want of a better word would grace United - he is a class act and would give us the brain power higher up the pitch that we currently lack. Not sure we'd need to use him as often as he would want, though.

On the other hand, as we're looking for attackers rather than mere centre forwards, a decent two-footed (ish), skillful speed merchant (he's fairly quick I think) with an eye for goal is Stuart Downing. This bloke would be an ideal squad player at United should he be suitably interested in such a proposition. He is a rough diamond imo, and training at United would teach him all the tricks his talent suggests he could use.
