Default Ilkay Gundogan..

http://bbc.in/24j0ek4

£20m isn't bad, bit injury prone and signing him while he has a dislocated kneecap

Still, probs better than all our midfielders with one leg thought he was older than 25.

love-fifteen to Pep.

Time to serve up an ace, Mou. Wonder who'll be first in the bag?

It'll be interesting to see if he regains his top form, which in fairness was very good. Him and DeBruyne give them two athletic players who can run with the ball, what they've largely lacked since Toure got old and Silva....no idea what happened to Silva really.

Probably just got worn down by the soul destroying pursuit of being a Man City player. Nobody cares about them, nobody respects them. After a while of picking up the money surely you just stop trying.

Might be wishful thinking, but I thought I saw some evidence of this with Aguero the second half of last season, once it was clear they weren't winning the league. He didn't even look that fussed in the Champions League semi-final.

So it looks like Pep's first two signings will be a midfielder with a dislocated knee cap and a CB with a broken leg

I seem to recall a dislocated kneecap being a pretty serious affliction. Didn't it do for Syd Lawrence's bowling career at one point? Can't imagine he'll be back imminently.

Would prefer they didn't get Laporte, broken leg or not.

A midfielder from Germany with a gammy knee. What could possibly go wrong?

City are going to spend an obscene amount of money this summer overhauling that squad. United better have done their homework and be smart with their targets because it's going to be hard work getting top players in.

Can't see it being anything other than a car crash tbh.

Still, top manager Pep.

He is a top manager. He's in for a £#%&!ing shock though after managing in leagues where 18 other teams just lie down and let you drill 7 goals past them.
