Thumbs down Daniel Bryan. Retired.

Just announced he is retiring.

Awful news.

The biggest pops I've seen, alongside Austin, Hogan etc.

When he turned against Bray Wyatt in the cage, the atmosphere was a joke.

All those ham and edgers who say wrestling is fake? Wrestling is as 'real' as anything.

My favourite Daniel Bryan moment? His feud/love triangle with CM Punk and AJ Lee. Great TV.

Bryans contract was reportedly frozen due to injury, which helps the WWE make up for lost time when someone is out of action. They had issues with Rey Mysterio due to the same clause. Judging from available talent contracts, Bryan may not have the right to give notice. The contract can be permanently frozen unless Bryan takes WWE to court or the WWE releases him.
Vince wont let me wrestle but im fine? That would be pretty great.

Really sad news for a genuine star and like others have said, the most over guy since SCSA. If he claims to able to fight but WWE won't clear him (probably more concerned with a DBry return ruining the plans they have for Reigns aka The New Cena, than they are about him being injured) then he can always go to Japan and clean up. He'll make a fortune over there.

Agreed to the above

Trying to think of an analogy. A career ending injury to Giggs when he was 25?

At least he wouldn't be waiting around to be our next manager
