Oh, and I feel soooo much better with VDS back.

What a great signing he's been.

Has absolutely £#%&! all to do with this thread and it's stating the obvious, but I thought I'd mention it anyway

Thought he wasn't fit, though Giggs playing off Rooney worked brilliantly against Bolton. If Saha is fit I'd pick him instead of Park,.

Exception that proves the rule. Ronnie and Rooney will start every game now, barring injury.

I'd get Saha back in there if fit too. He needs games and momentum. He (and his fitness) seem to thrive on playing regularly and getting into a rhythm.

I've got the old 'funny feeling' about this one.

I very rarely get it, but for this I have. I think we'll win, but Blackburn are spoilers by trade. Their record against us is pretty good, particularly under Hughes. They have players to hurt us in Pederson (who may expose Brown) and McCarthy. I heard Bentley is out, is that true? Hope so.

They're also getting it together at the back a bit too. The big guy Samba looks a rock. They're in great form.

I don't like the games immediately after an Int. break either. Very little time to prepare and we've got a huge game on Wed too.

I'm trying to remain positive, but I don't like this seemingly accepted idea that we're 'on the brink'.

We're anything but. There's a lot of work to do yet, it could all go wrong in the space of a couple of games and there's plenty of 'potential banana skins' left and I think this is one of them. I expect it will be our toughest remaining home game.

I would not be suprised at all to see a 0-0 or 1-1 here and we can ill afford that.

But, in the spirit of remaining positve, I'll say 2-1 to us. If we perform like we did against Bolton and get an early goal then we should be ok.

I share JCs fear. This games comes after two £#%&!ing stupid internationals, players may be tired. With Roma on wednesday, Fergie may be tempted to rest a few. I really hope he doesn't, the League must remain the priority.

Wasn't Ronaldo injured playing for Portugal?

Another good point.

Friedel always excels against us.

Generally, they have a good record against us. They're playing well too.

Many people were worried about the Bolton game. But we seem to have a knack of handling Bolton. They were also coming into the game low on confidence and as well as we played they were shit!

I expect the opposite from Blackburn.

Did Giggs play full 90 for Wales in midweek?
