The other thread that led to this thread was about him going to Australia. I wonder if they'll welcome him like the Turks welcomed Darius Vassell.

Very harsh.
Wes has had a great career at United.
Played a big part in the 2008 double.

I think Djembax2 had potential.

What the £#%&! ever went through SAF's head when he signed Andy Goram is beyond me.

Found this whilst searchnig

Agree with that. Silvestre was at times excellent, at times woeful, but mostly decent. He gave the best performance by a Utd left back that i have seen in my lifetime at home to Arsenal, that year he put a peach of a cross into Rooney for a goal. His final ball was far superior to Evra as well.

Similar standard of player to Wes Brown, and I do not imagine many people would consider Brown for this type of selection.

Indeed. Maybe some people only really remember his holocaust against Leeds these days

no way would you have Forlan amongst that shower. I remember Paddy C commentating on the pre season Juve match (circa 2003?) and Beliion ran the full length of the pitch without looking up once and ran straight into touch. Paddy lost for words just went "well...he's fast"

Forlan's improvement after leaving has lead to some real revisionism. He had a good strike on him, but he was £#%&!ing terrified of the United scene, and when he had time in the box, he made Park look like RVN.
