Managed to catch the Batistuta one.£#%&!ing hell, I loved that man

Was at OT to see his goal and celebration for Fiorentina (yes, I applauded.Top red etc).One Scudetto is all he won Great, great player.

Shit goalkeeping, Bosnich needed a slap for that.

I was there too, Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke were £#%&!ing ace that night, as was Roy Keane. Batistuta barely had a kick aside from his goal.

Watched most of them over the summer.

Stuff like this always makes me think how good Duncan Edwards would have become. Pele broke onto the world stage at the '58 World Cup, and no doubt Duncan would have done the same with England in that same tournament.

Lots of great accolades to Duncan, but sir bob's 'he's the only player who made me' feel inferior' given who he played with and against at the peak of their powers puts it into perspective for me.
