a fair few mentions for aguero. personally i find him to be a pretty snide bastard, even if he is a fantastic player.

I would have loved Shearer at Utd, nobody can deny he wasn't a ridiculous goal scorer. I was gutted when he joined Newcastle, I spent the summer counting down how long it was until his pending retirement, so sure I was of Newcastle hoovering up every trophy in sight

I could be tempted to take Hazaard, Aguero and Costa too.

Kompany is a big part of why City didn't defend the title (with countless costly errors, mostly shocking positional play) and especially of why they've done so poorly in the CL. The way some of the sides have played round him and/or moved him around has been telling.

'Like' and 'rate' are not the same thing.

I rate plenty of opposition players. Struggling to think of any I like. I'm sure some have personality, but all you get from interviews generally is the standard boring stuff.

good point

in that case i'll go for steve mcmanaman (deceased as a player) as actually having a personality even if not being that good

You've got to respect the fact that great players such as Bergkamp (who was pretty handy with his elbows when he fancied it) and Zidane wouldn't take any shit though.

If that's the right back at Southampton then yes.

So far, Bellamy has invested £450,000 of his own cash and pledged a further £800,000, making it clear he is in it "until I'm a very old man". The steelworker's son from a Cardiff council estate is transforming lives beyond measure.
