Jamie has been absolutely outstanding for me since I joined the club," said the former Swansea manager, who took charge at Anfield last summer.

Carragher seems like the only one who has figured Brenton out

Don't mind Carragher, for a Dipper. Maximised his limited ability to establish himself over th years. Always relatively respectful to United too. Knows when to quit too. I hope he dies unloved and unfathomably unhappy.

Always very respectful towards united/fergie which my brain finds very hard to compute when I hear the words and that accent at the same time.

Out of the dipper players, he's amongst one of the ones I dislike the least.

But the accent makes me want to kill him.

Represented Liverpool Football Club perfectly during a sustained run of zero league titles in 23 years and counting. Won 7 Cups including the CL which is more than any players Brenton signs will ever do under his management.

NB during does not mean throughout, for the benefit of the perpetually bewildered

Carragher may have been a top pro for all I know, but a great player he certainly was not. Alan Hansen won 7 or 8 league titles. Great is a hopelessly overused term to describe pretty £#%&!ing average players.
