On Welbeck

Strong? Sure, but who isn’t in the Premier League? Decisive? No. Technically gifted? Not really. Quick? I’d leave him one on one, no problem. Clinical? You’re taking the piss, aren’t you?

Welbeck is a player who I don’t mind playing against. He has nothing in his armoury that scares me apart from the crest over his heart that reads “Manchester United Football Club”

I would love to know who this is.

it is kitson - a lad i know is a proper reading fc geek and he and a few others have worked out it's him, pretty much.

There's a video somewhere from when he was at Portsmouth where he mentions several things that are in the book like depression, certain injuries etc.

He barely managed 4 seasons in the prem, the way he bangs on in his book you'd think he was a 10 year veteran

And for Reading and Stoke as well.

I'd love to know the manager he was talking about in his book who would take his players bonuses to pick them in his team.
