No WUM. From the BBC site:

1929: Can Ryan Giggs and Sir Alex Ferguson work it out? Rumours from Old Trafford suggest birthday boy Giggs and his boss have had a falling out. The official line is the 33-year-old has a calf injury.

Default well, there's one positive thing about that midfield

without scholes we'll be able to see how carrick deals with with the more attacking role

unfortunately with o'pie in the team he'll have to do it while also filling the defensive role

Default another positive

**see how happy i am tonight? just tried my first glass of borsuk 2007. top quality red :o)**

another positive is the fact that we actually have a bench which could change the game for the better: scholes, saha...

Couldn't get any of the web feeds to work. I'm stuck watching Chelsea-Bolton.

Update from there: Chelsea are battering them, Jaaskelainen keeping them out for the moment.

Default this falling out between fergie and giggs

will be fergie being utterly pissed off with giggs's loose free kick and the failure to watch what essien was up to, costing us a goal and two points against chelsea. fair enough.

giggs is in the crowd watching, with smudge, so he's taking his medicine. (or, of course, he's just being rested and 2+2 does, after all, =4)

goal... ronaldo!
