Yes, when the Champions league is on on a Tuesday and a Wednesday the Monday game just before them is two teams not in Europe.

So it usually will be something like Newcastle v Villa or some other mid table shite.

They won't want to pass up the chance to be able to show the mid table shite that is Manchester United in a slot where they are usually fiddling round for a half decent game and, thus, save the weekend TV games for the teams playing in Europe.
