I know Barca had plenty of class to step in but £#%&! me why didn't they use him like this as a plan B? I just thought he was a Makelele lite with gigantism that could play at centre half.

Tbh, I think that's what City thought he was, then he got there and it turned out he was better than every other player in every other position that was already there

Whaley once mentioned that we were looking at him and had him in the bag, but weren't sure on him at one point

Suarez getting stupidly good....but needs to do it more when it really matters. If he's the difference in the games against city and chelsea, then I'll rethink my opinion.
