Exclamation What are some of your favourite World Cup goals/memories?

These two were tarnished by the players involved ending up at Liverpool, but I'll always enjoy this Salif Diao goal in 2002...

...and Suarez' skullduggery followed by Gyan's penalty miss in 2010 was just incredible drama, Clive.

Maradona 86... For some reason I enjoyed the World Cup in South Africa but hated the last one in Brasil...

As shit as they were, Brazil being annihilated by Germany four years ago (four years ffs) will take some beating in terms of sheer WTFery. It was hilarious, the local fans reaction was epic too.

Them Krauts though

I liked it when that youth from Cameroon hit Claudio Caniggia so hard his boot flew off. Always stuck with me for some reason.

Legitimately one of my most favourite, Rio in the pre-match putting his hat on Ze Germans, Shearer & someone else giving him the look... cut to him at half time & you've never seen a more smug face in your life

I doubt we'll see anything like that again.

The crowd crying their eyes out knowing it was all over despite the fact there was still an hour to go

That Brazil team was £#%&!ing awful, surprised they got that far. The Germans were £#%&!ing clinical though.
