Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wasn't surprised by Carlos Tevez's decision to walk out on the club over the weekend.

The People says Ferguson has been disappointed for some time with the way the striker has behaved.

Fergie was dismayed by Tevez's unwillingness to learn English despite three seasons in the Premier League.

And Fergie was unimpressed by Tevez's failure to show up at the club's player-of-the-year awards, having already waved his goodbyes to the fans after United clinched the title against Arsenal on May 16.

He knew then that Tevez was on his way.

The euphoria of last season has already gone and Fergie has seen his strike-force ripped apart in the most dramatic summer since he took charge 23 years ago.

Tbf I it's pretty obvious Fergie was pissed off with Tevez, also I reckon Fergie decided a while back Tevez wasn't worth what MSI wanted.

if they weren't going to make some quotes up or take a few out of context you'd've thought they might've at least stitched a few old ones together
