With a consistent run in the side, Gibson will be a very good player in the Prem.

Simpson will be a success in Mansion and Studio Valbonne. He's had plenty of chances already in his career to prove he has potential but he didn't deliver. He was a disgrace at Blackburn and his technique falls short at premiership level - it's an unforgiving world at the top level, no amount of pace can counter poor technique. I said it about a year ago (Rhodzy might remember) and nothing has changed.

I have never understood the grief Gibson gets, I think he has looked a decentish prospect.

May not make it at United because the standards are getting higher and higher but I didn't expect him to be offloaded so soon.

especially when you consider that alan smith was considered a good footballer by most. a strange, strange train of selection runs through our fans sometimes.
