I thought so. Serbia really lacked a centre forward to play off. I liked the look of the Serbian No. 10, 4 & 17 as well. Marchisio looks a good un for ities.

Kin hell, this lad brought in as Ljajics mate actually had a pretty good 2nd half.

Could be useful next season, hope he has a whole pre season with us as only then will he start feeling like a United player. He looks a lot bigger than on those pictures when he was presented which has to be a good thing.

Have a feeling im right though and it'lll all be about Ljajic in the next few years. Won't complain if we have to pay £16m for the two in the end, as it means theyll both have hit certain incentives, international caps, trophies etc.

Anyone else like the Serbian defence, given the quality of Aquafresca and Balotelli it was pretty strange to see both of them be closed out of the game like that. Vukovic = Nemanja with pace...

The 10 is Ajax's record signing i believe. 4 was kacar, not sure were he was playing, but for herta berlin he's played CB, Defensive Midfield but also as an attacking midfielder, scored 11 for them in 1 season He really impressed me tonight true box to box player, good strong tackler, loves joining the attack. If he put a bit size on he'd be perfect for us

He does look a fine player. Both defences were solid too. For a 0-0 it wasn't a bad game.

They produce quite a few players.

Tosic, Ljajic, Stevan Jovetić just 3 off the top of my head who have recently moved on.

We would be well served having some sort of link up with them.
