Default things are much worse behind the scenes than people think.

i just watched the espn soccernet show[or whatever its called these days] and
Raphael Honigstein mentioned that he has a friend who is very close to manchester united.
this mate told Raph that things at united are very much worse than people believe, and that apparently moyes has completely lost the dressing-room.

Klopp's name was mentioned as a possible replacement, although he is under contract at his club obviously.
has there been a link between united and Klopp in the past?
thats the impression i got from listening to the comments on the show.
when asked about Klopp, Raph did say that things aren't as sweet between united and Klopp and they used to be in the recent past. whatever that means?
but he said he believes there is still a small chance Klopp could go to united, but the feeling wasn't as strong as it was.
it was also said that Klopp wasn't the kind of guy to start a new job and demand lots of new players.
he is the type of manager who is good at getting the best out of current players, apparently.[i know nothing about the guy.]

in reality you can mention any manager's name and say that they had a 'small chance' to get the job at old trafford really. so maybe the whole Klopp thing is crap?

the loss of the dressing room isn't a surprise though is it?
maybe rvp's comments had a bit of an effect on the powers that be at united?
the club would much rather keep a happy van persie than moyes.

still this is all just conjecture at the moment.

With Pep, Jose and Ancelotti recently starting new jobs (Ancelotti should have got the job after Fergus IMO) then Klopp does seem to be the next inline?

Van Gal and Hiddink have been mentioned but both would be short term solutions

Are there any other contenders doing well at European clubs?

It's all irrelevant though of course, because WHEN Moyes is sacked they will either hand the Keys back to Fergus or give it too Giggs...

Neither has Moyes. £#%&! him. Van Persie won Utd the title last season, something they'll never do under Golum.

This. Whatever player, whatever manager. Better players than RVP have been shown the door thinking they can dictate.

Sell one of the the best strikers in the world for the worst manager in footballing history. Makes sense.

I agree with your sentiments, but it's not worth it with Moyes. He's cancer.

if it works on Moyes all the successors will have to put up with it. They'll have to upset players too you know.

I agree to an extent, but Van Gaal could be in the job for five years. That sounds fine to me.
