Ante Coric of Croatia to shine.
Croatia to go deep.
Norn Iron to make the quarters.
Michy Batshuayi to impress.

Hakan Calhanoglu (as previously saged a year ago) & Leroy Sane. The Swiss lad Breel Embolo has also been repeatedly discussed on here so I'm looking forward to seeing if he's the business.

Depressingly I expect the best youngster to be Renato Sanches

england will win the euros more than anyone has ever won it before. i know this kind of hype has been ironised as a cliche, but i am attempting to reclaim it as clear-eyed objective analysis.

I'm expecting some relatively unknown quantity is going to have the biggest impact. Probably an ISIS sleeper cell that have stayed under the radar in Marseille

Hungary to make the quarters.

My family, or at least half of it, are Hungarian, so I'm hoping for a big tournament from them. They get more of my support than those shithouses playing for England. Other than the Utd lads of course.

They play nice football, and they do have some talented players, but there are a few mediocre players there too.
If they get their act together, then they can give anybody a good game, but that's a big if.
They're in a group with Austria, Portugal and Iceland, and tbh, I wouldn't be surprised to see Austria and Hungary go through.

Don't believe the bookies. They're far better than Albania, and are certainly worth a couple of quid to progress from that group.
